Lise Lortie – For clear and concise texts

Writer, copy editor, proofreader and publishing project coordinator. I work for publishers, magazines, translation and communications agencies, and Rights & Democracy, where I was publishing assistant for three and a half years.

I hold a B.A in literary studies from Université du Québec à Montréal and a certificate in French writing from Université de Montréal. I am bilingual (French/English) and have a good grasp of Spanish.

French writing:

Clear and concise writing of texts – both informative and descriptive.

French copy editing:

Strong knowledge of French and therefore able to identify errors including anglicisms, inappropriate expressions, grammar and spelling mistakes. Able to revise a text to improve its readability.
